How Would a Nurse React to a Hepatitis C Diagnosis?
Wednesday October 8, 2008
Have you ever wondered how a medical professional would deal with a diagnosis of hepatitis C and the treatment process? Do you think they have access to super-secret knowledge they learn in nursing or medical school and don't tell the rest of us? In reality, the men and women who treat us often must struggle through the same ailments and they do it the same way as everyone else. Mike, a registered nurse, shared with me his reaction when he found out he was hepatitis C positive and how he didn't let it change his life--too much. In this interview, he describes how he lives his life with a career, family and hepatitis C.
