New Drug Compound Could Prevent HCV Replication

Saturday June 7, 2008
Here's some interesting news from one of the drug companies. On June 3, Immtech announced they were getting good results from a compound that actually inhibits some infection and replication of the hepatitis C virus.

Of course, the drug is early in development, but it is an important result because it could develop into a drug with a new and different way of fighting HCV.

Immtech is a pharmaceutical company that develops drugs for many infectious diseases, including hepatitis C. Check out their press release for more information.
