Are You at Risk for Hepatitis A?

The holiday travel season is approaching quickly and many of you will be visiting friends and family near and far. If your idea of far includes Central and South America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and most of Asia, you should protect yourselves with hepatitis A vaccine.

Hepatitis A, caused by a virus, is usually a mild gastrointestinal disease with symptoms of fatigue, nausea, vomiting and fever—never fun for vacations—but can also develop into more serious infections. Learn about the different types of hepatitis with this easy overview.
